Job Description

Summary/objective

As an Inventory Specialist, you will be directly supporting our production teams with needed job materials. Responsible for the inventory organization and space, you will maintain efficient systems for keeping everything in stock and ready for use. As part of the shipping and receiving team this role will be fast paced at times while allowing opportunities to improve processes during other times. The position will report to the Shipping Supervisor, and may supply assistance to the entire shipping and receiving department as needed.

Essential functions

· Issue raw material to production jobs as requested by planning department

· Restock raw material on an as needed basis

· Assist receiving with incoming raw material

· Actively audit finished goods and materials through cycle counts

· Complete monthly inventory within deadlines

· Maintain a clean and organized stock area.

· Assist Shipping Department as necessary

· Ability to lift 50 lbs
