A well-established metaphysical retail store is seeking help to process incoming merchandise and track inventory throughout the store. Position is 32+ hours per week. We are looking for a detail oriented, self-directed individual with strong critical thinking, organizational and computer skills. On occasion, you may be requested to assist on the sales floor and ring sales.

Receiving Responsibilities

• Operate and run all aspects of the Inventory process
• Ensure that the store is stocked at all times
• Check in all physical inventory upon receipt of goods
• Audit the delivered items while making sure of quality
• Enter stock order into online system and reconcile to invoice
• Print labels
• Un-package and tag items so they are ready for the sales floor
• Report damages to vendors and track credits, track damages for Management review
• Create, manage, and maintain records for pricing, purchases, and other crucial data
• Maintain a neat and organized stock room with supplies and overstock inventory, such that all team members can find items
• Collaborate as an active member of the team

Inventory Control Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counting of inventory
• Research discrepancies and untagged items
• Handle damaged merchandise found on sales floor
• Run reports to identify old merchandise
• Return overstock merchandise when allowed
• Mark down unreturnable old merchandise
• Prepare reports for ordering inventory

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with Inventory Control and/or Receiving for at least 2 years preferred.
• Fluent with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Communicates well in both written and verbal forms.
• Physically able to move, sit, walk, squat, stand, and even climb during the shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds on occasion.
• Some knowledge of crystals is highly preferred.

Hours

• Tuesday - Friday 11:30 am to 7:30 pm.
• Saturday 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
