Your role here
From Day 1, you will have direct responsibility for all destination side related import operations. You will work with our business partners and coordinate with Customer Service account teams and warehouses, container delivery and Drayage operations, rates management, Destination-side KPI’s and operational updates to the technology platform’s Control Tower.
Your experience and background

Responsible for tracking and operational support of import Purchase Orders through Cargo Release and Door delivery.

Responsible for all Destination processes within the import technology platform.

Key point of contact with all Drayage providers and Domestic carriers providing inland services between Ports, Rail ramps, DCs and Transload facilities, including final delivery and empty container/trailer return.

Responsible for developing and managing all operational Service Levels, Destination side SOPs, KPI’s, Standards and Performance Metrics.

Identify, resolve, and communicate the root cause of complex supply chain issues with minimal supervision and develop corrective action plans, while escalating strategic issues to management as needed.

Work within systems (Import Platform, Excel, 4PL Visibility platform, TMS, MS Dynamics 365) execute daily activities and to collect and analyze data.

Provides support including decision making in the absence of the International Logistics Manager.
