Job description
We have an IMMEDIATE need for an International Logistics Coordinator! The chosen candidate will be responsible for coordinating the storage, transportation and delivery of goods as well as shipping equipment and filing claims with carriers and insurance companies.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare international shipping documents
- Experience with OUTBOUND International freight
· Blind shipments from overseas vendors to overseas customers
· Control all imports, customs clearance, final delivery
· Prepare Letter of Credit Presentations
· Prepare cash against Docs Presentation
· Be able to properly assign HS Codes
· Contract Negotiation with all freight vendors and review/approve all freight invoices
· Obtain truck, air, & ocean rates
· Track and monitor shipments in transit
· Prepare Commercial Invoices, Packing list, COO, COC, SLI’s
· Troubleshoot issues with shipping software and anything that prevents something from shipping
· Obtain insurance certificates for customers EPI and COI’s
· Process large batch shipments using World Ship or Ship Manager
·Requirements:
International Freight Experience
Knowledge of HS Codes, Incoterms
*Knowledge of international commerce sales and payment terms, customs regulations, and international supply chain processes.
*Must be detail oriented
*Strong negotiating skills
