Job Profile Summary
This entry level IT Internal Auditor role will assist with the execution of internal audit assignments, including the completion of the annual risk-based audit plan and execution of the Company's Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. On-the-job training will be provided to the IT Auditor to develop the ability to assess risks and internal controls and for the timely and accurate completion of assigned audit work in a manner consistent with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing, along with the professional standards of conduct of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
Job Description
  • Entry level position
  • Responsible for assisting in the development of audit programs and participating on audit projects including identifying critical control issues and recommending corrective actions.
  • Assist in the completion of the Company’s compliance with financial reporting regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for the preparation of work papers, drafting audit report observations and other correspondence.
  • Assess the adequacy of Management's plans for addressing and correcting audit findings.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and effectively manage assignments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business owners and develop strong business relationships.
  • Provide timely and adequate two-way communication before, during and after each audit review to ensure mutual understanding of audit scope, process and results, and to eliminate “surprises”.
  • Internal applicants should meet all eligibility requirements per employee handbook.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Entry level to 2 years’ experience
  • General IT knowledge preferred (IT systems and Controls Process)
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Flexible to travel (up to 10%).
