POSITION: Integrated Care Probation Behavioral Health Therapist

LOCATION: Henry County Health Department; Kewanee, IL

HOURS: M-F 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Position Overview:

Under the general supervision of the Public Health Administrator of Henry/Stark Health Department, provides intervention within the school systems to youth identified by the school-based team.
Completes assessment and treatment planning and collaborate with school as needed. Provides both individual and group therapy within the school setting, office or community-based locations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Primarily responsible for a variety of therapy modalities for dual diagnosed clients and their families.
• Performs clinical assessment, brief psychotherapy, consultation, linkage to other services for clients and/or their families.
• Assumes a caseload of clients, participates in diagnosis and treatment planning and provides community consults and education services.
• Works with families, groups and individuals as a member of a treatment team and program.
• Participates in social emotional learning team meetings with school administration, teachers, and school staff.
• Provides evidence-based interventions to students within a school setting.
• Works to engage parents and teachers in treatment.

Education/Experience:

• Required Minimum of Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy and experience in addictions treatment.
• Preferred State of Illinois Licensure or eligible for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social

Worker or a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or License Marriage and Family Therapist
