We are currently seeking an individual to join our insurance desk as an Insurnace Operations Specialist.
Job Description
· New Client Onboarding - Process insurance applications, guides clients through the underwriting process and communicates with clients about next steps in the process
· Respond to client inquiries in a professional manner
· Process client service request (e.g. address changes, beneficiary changes etc.).
· Follows-up to ensure all client service is completed and tasks are followed up on.
· Maintain Daily Status Report (Late Pays/Lapses) and call clients who need to pay their bill.
· Serve as a liaison between the Home Offices and the client
· Schedule medical exams and Initiate and track down Attending Physician’s Statements
· Keep wealth managers up to date on application and client statuses
· Coordinate address changes into CRM system
· Serve as the primary point of contact to help clients connect their accounts to our account aggregation tool online
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree required
· At least two years of insurance underwriting and operations experience
- Life and Health Insurance license
· Effectively leads and facilitates groups of people and the work of others.
· Superior communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to create urgency and help clients take action.
· Works effectively with people at all levels and build strong relationships.
· Capable of working interdependently with others and effectively providing feedback to team members
· Aptitude for addressing issues in a proactive and creative manner, mediate critical issues, and lead crucial conversations using a results-focused approach.
· Effectively manage time to address multiple priorities at multiple levels.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
