Responsibilities:
Overview: The Insurance Premium Finance Program Lead will lead the implementation of PBS System while establishing policies and procedures. This implementation will enable us to finance policies in-house in order to provide timely and competitive service. Our fully owned insurance brokerage affiliate, OneGroup, is a one of the top 100 insurance agencies in the U.S. with over $300 million in premium placed annually.

Essential Duties:
  • Work with captive insurance agency to implement Premium Finance program
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
  • Work closely with IT and external system vendor to integrate premium finance system
  • Train junior underwriters and closely collaborate with CBNA’s small business unit
  • Develop growth strategies
  • Evaluate reporting systems and collection procedures
  • Manage KPI and identify gap opportunity analysis, driving improvement solutions and receiving recognition for consistent achievement.
  • Oversee quotes, underwriting and negotiations for an existing book of business
  • Ensure quarterly and annual goals meet or exceed expectations.
  • Collaborate with other teams to optimize the services offered resulting growth of business.
  • Provide an exceptional client experience resulting in retention and attract new business.

Ancillary Duties:

This position is also responsible to provide assistance wherever necessary to help the bank in achieving their annual goals.

Qualifications:
Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in business-related field

Skills:
Working knowledge of finance principles and procedures including an understanding of risks and controls. Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and database management; strong interpersonal relations and communication skills; detail oriented and able to work well under pressure with tight deadlines. Desire to lead and develop business line.

Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in Premium Finance Underwriting and Administration. Experience with Premium Billing System (“PBS”) highly desired but not required. Previous experience in banking, insurance, financial services, or other related fields preferred.
