About the role:
To perform Quality Assurance release/inspection activities on Finished Goods Devices. Control of products through such activities as release of new product lines to Finished Goods, processing shipping holds, processing/controlling pre-release product lines, processing scrap, processing/controlling quality records. Performs basic statistical analysis through the collection and input of data into software applications or manual calculations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Releases product to Finished Goods/inventory following acceptable inspection criteria(s). Data entry and SAP/MES/WM/eRelease transactions related to inspection and release activities. Perform inspection activities on products, in such categories as sterility inspection, incoming inspection and in process inspection.
- Interface with plant representatives and external functional groups in identifying and resolving potential nonconforming issues.
- Performs investigation on material through review of processing records in all systems. Executes the disposition of material through approved nonconforming reports, completion of scrap forms and other applicable documents.
- Ensure that all product and corresponding paperwork meets requirements and specifications.
- Perform all release activities.
- Handle all product/system issues in all release areas
- Data collection and analysis.
- Performs other duties as required
- This position will support additional team responsibilities/projects.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or equivalent required
- 2 years’ experience
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to read/write English to complete paperwork and interpret procedures and have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Solid understanding of quality concepts and procedures to perform inspection/release activities.
- Ability to work across multiple release areas.
- Basic computer skills, detail oriented, focus driven and the ability to work in a dynamic team setting.
- Maintain compliance to Regulatory and Corporate requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance function preferably in a regulated environment.
- Associates or Bachelor's degree
- Proficiency in SAP/MES/WM
- Proficiency Microsoft Office - Excel
