At Wray Ward, the Insights and Brand Strategy Coordinator provides day-to-day support to the Insights and Brand Strategy team.

This includes maintaining a high level of awareness of insights activities, detail-oriented programs, project management and professional communication.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities as Insights and Brand Strategy Coordinator

  • Support the Insights and Brand Strategy team in all activities required to deliver the full scope of strategy, planning and research services to meet clients’ needs and deliver better-performing work

  • Manage Insights and Brand Strategy’s Google Suite folders and content

  • Oversee Insights and Brand Strategy’s research library
    • Establish and maintain file structure

    • Update with content received from internal and external sources, and be familiar enough with content to retrieve or direct others to content as needed

  • Coordinate Insights and Brand Strategy’s department and client work files
    • Establish and maintain file structure

    • Maintain and update Insights and Brand Strategy’s process and training documents, templates and tools

    • Update with Insights and Brand Strategy’s client work as completed

  • Gather, interpret and share trend and category news and information with the team and upload to Google Suite

  • Attend relevant webinars on behalf of the team and distribute resulting notes and materials

  • Provide presentation development support (Google Suite documents)

  • Provide desk or field research leveraging existing resources in gathering and compiling market information

  • Gather and synthesize information to support 5C’s, personas and journey framework development

  • Co-lead monthly Insights and Brand Strategy and Media Strategy team meetings with Media Strategy partner

  • Serve as Wonder interface superuser to input, distribute and manage data inquiries and monitor usage

  • Provide MRI/Ipsos Affluent database mining/analysis

  • Oversee infographic development

  • Provide general team support for scheduling, analysis, notes compilation, WWorkshopTM support and reporting, etc.

  • Support blog development with topical information and content

Qualifications

  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook and internet applications


  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving and presentation skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated collaborative skills, desire to learn and ability to work well within a team

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment

  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting

  • Bachelor’s in marketing, merchandising, business or related field

  • Must be Charlotte-based or willing to relocate

  • Ability to be onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
