Injection Molding Process Technician Job at Primera Plastics, Inc.
Primera Plastics is looking for a full time Process Technician to join our 1st shift team. As a Process Technician, you will be responsible for the set-up, start-up, troubleshooting and maintaining of the process controls on all equipment as well as automation processes.
· Problem solves and investigates troubled tools, processes or machinery.
· Start up of injection molding machines and robots.
· Perform process monitoring as defined on the process monitoring sheets.
· Responsible for reporting any damage or repairs needed to molding machines, support equipment and/or tooling by way of Maintenance Work Orders and/or Request for Mold repair forms.
· Establish and maintain company key measure as it pertains to process.
· Adhere and implement procedures that are in the best interest of Primera.
· Responsible for the organization around the molding machines.
· Initiation and implementation of process changes that will improve yield, reduced production cycle time, lower cost and improve quality.
· Use lean manufacturing methods to reduce waste in all areas of responsibility.
· Perform mold changes if needed.
· Provide support for production activities.
