Dayton Granger, Inc is seeking an IT Security Analyst that will center their efforts in maintaining the security and integrity of our computer networks and systems.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS THE IT SECURITY ANALYST

The Security Analyst that will design and implement IT security processes to protect all of DG's networks. He/she will perform assessments of systems and identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations and policies. They will establish processes to ensure mitigation of risks and obtain certification and accreditation of systems.
What you will need:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with network defense tools such as routers, firewalls, intrusion prevention system (IPS), intrusion detection system (IDS), log correlations tools, alerts, dashboards and report building; Analysis and responding to cyber incidents with networks is required.
• Exposure to DoD computing computing environment and standards is Required. NIST800-171 and CMMC is plus.
• Experience with endpoint security such as anti-virus, vulnerability scanning and patch management.
• Demonstrated knowledge of information technology and information security practices, including but not limited to: host security, network perimeter security, intrusion detection/prevention, application security, threat modeling, physical security, and disaster recovery.
• Expertise in at least one of the cloud platforms – Azure, AWS or GCP; Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems; must be able to evaluate and implement emerging technologies.

• Must be a team player and support all other functions of the IT Department.
• Great people skills to be able to interact with management, vendors and co-workers.
