Job Description:

Project Genesis, Inc. is currently seeking Direct Care Staff members to deliver services as Independent Living Skills Trainers (ILST) within our Acquired Brain Injury Program.

Work one-on-one with individuals in Colchester, Groton, and Niantic to help improve their ability to live independently in the community. Provide non-medical care, supervision, and socialization in accordance with the client’s service plan.

Full Time, Part Time, and Per Diem Schedules Available. ILST positions available Days, Evenings and Weekends. Companion positions available Evenings, Overnights and Weekends.

Companion Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Reliable transportation, good driving record, valid driver's license and proof of insurance

Independent Living Skills Trainer Requirements:

The above Companion Requirements AND

2 years experience working with ABI with High School Diploma or Equivalent OR 1 year experience working with ABI with Bachelor's degree
