The Role
Reporting to the Logistics Project Manager of the Product Company Rock Hill, the Inbound delivery Coordinator’s mission is to lead the transformation of Rock Hill Product Company inbound logistics as we continue to strive for excellence. We believe that people perform best in an environment which displays confidence in its employees, offers rewards for positive action and allows prudent risk taking.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the incoming delivery traffic at the PC and 3PL in order to streamline the receiving process and have a balance in the receiving daily activities.
  • Focus on best practices and process and procedures when it comes to receiving of incoming shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming shipments at the plant and at 3PL.
  • Communicate effectively with internal manufacturing, supervisory and support groups concerning material, inventory and shipment issues.
  • Work with Transportation carriers regarding incoming product shipments.
  • Maintain compliance to safe work and quality compliance standards and practices.
  • Maintain compliance of 5S/Lean manufacturing concepts/practices.

  • College degree or equivalent by experience.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in a manufacturing or distribution operations.
  • Knowledge of receiving/inventory control procedures
  • Must be a team player with a “can do” attitude
  • Strong Organization and analytical skills with attention to details are necessary
  • Computer proficiency : Microsoft Office package.
  • Effectively use computerized inventory systems. Knowledge of BPCS, CSX, WMS system a plus.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with manufacturing, internal support groups, and external transportation carriers
