Job Description: IAM Security Engineer
Location: King of Prussia - PA
Onsite 2 days a week - King of Prussia, PA
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the IAM subject matter expert for the organization for both internal and external applications
- Analyze current Identity platform and develop requirements for new commercial IAM solutions
- Collaborate with developers on CIAM application integration requirements
- Provide architectural design, guidance, and oversight on projects that require IAM services
- Provide support, management, and updates of IAM platform
- Integrate approved third-party applications with IAM platform
- Provide administration support for IAM features with web-based systems/applications
- Be responsible for the requirements gathering, analysis and technical design documentation of IAM solution
- Communicate with development team on aspects of both the product and the implementation at the technical and/or functional level
- Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing, improving or reconfiguration of existing components
- Understanding and evaluating complex applications including assessing many different application architectures, API contracts, and user management systems
- Learn and implement newly released technology in line with best practices
- Assist with SDLC process related to UAT and release management of IAM solution, including remediation of issues discovered as part UAT
- Report key performance metrics
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
2. Minimum of 4 years of related IAM experience
3. Advanced knowledge of enterprise-grade IAM technologies such as: LDAP, OAuth, SAML, OpenID SPML, OIDC, FIDO, SCIM
4. Experience working with Customer Identity Management solutions, specifically Okta
5. Understanding of cloud IAM technologies such as: CASB, API management, & key management
6. Firm grasp of security concepts related to IAM, including Federation, MFA, authentication, and authorization
7. Experience with programming languages such as Microsoft .NET, Adobe ColdFusion, C#, Java
8. Experience with Microsoft DevOps and agile development practices such as Scrum, Kanban.
9. Basic understanding of technical fundamentals, specifically web application architecture and networking
10. Familiarity with web server administration concepts
11. Familiarity with API integration or knowledge of API Management Platforms
12. Familiarity with Azure/AWS/Cloud Infrastructure
13. Understanding of web security technologies and best practices, specifically as it relates to “OWASP top 10” web application vulnerabilities
14. Excellent interpersonal skills, communication abilities, and a self-starter
15. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and follow-up on tasks
