You will work under minimal supervision and support with some of the world's most talented production maintenance technicians. You will use your technical expertise to solve problems, troubleshoot equipment and drive world class Asset Reliability. You will lead root cause analysis, drive continuous improvement opportunities and train other maintenance technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with internal procedures. Promote safety rules and regulations as well as environmental compliance.
• Provide technical assistance to support I&E maintenance team to resolve Instrument/Electrical field problems.
• Equipment troubleshooting and modification of process controls, control valves, safety devices, analyzers, PLC’s, field instrumentation (pressure, level, and flow instrumentation), process monitoring equipment, low and high voltage motors/breakers and control circuits and distributed control systems (DCS)
• Equipment repair optimization by updating and/or creating I&E manual/procedures for certain equipment as needed.
• Keep abreast of and evaluate new methodologies, work practices, equipment, instrumentation, controls, technology, etc., for application and use within the plant
• Lead the investigation of equipment failures, determine root cause of failure, and recommend appropriate solutions to reduce reoccurrence of/or eliminate cause of failure
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies and periodic review of preventative/predictive maintenance programs to reduce unplanned shutdowns and improve overall plant on stream capability
• Spare parts management strategies
• Technical training for other maintenance technicians
• Improve equipment operability and automation
• Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds
• Climbing stairs and ladders

YOU MUST HAVE

• High School Diploma or GED

WE VALUE

• 5+ years’ experience in Instrumentation, Electrical, and Process Controls in an industrial setting
• Expert knowledge in instrumentation and electrical equipment repairs and maintenance
• Experience in Asset Reliability programs
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Willingness to grow and learn
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities and drive resolution with little direction
• Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done
• Some relevant leadership experience
