Summary:
We have an immediate opening for an experienced HVAC Technician. You will travel to each client’s location to inspect their current equipment, identify problems with their units, and perform necessary repairs or routine maintenance. When required, you will install new systems and ensure they are running smoothly. Our ideal candidate has at least one year of professional HVAC repair experience and can work independently. Candidate must also be open to perform handyman duties, not related to HVAC, in the event basic repair and maintenance of homes is called upon.
Description:
- Maintain, install, and repair air conditioning, ventilation and heating systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance to increase the longevity of any HVAC system.
- Discuss various options when it comes to heating and cooling systems, and help determine which option is best for the situation.
- Troubleshoot issues with a current system as they are noticed.
- Conduct performance tests with specialized tools and adjust system settings to keep temperature comfortable in the home or office.
- Travel to different homes and businesses throughout the day and determine problems in order to repair or replace the system before the customer is inconvenienced.
- Categorize and organize inventory to limit unnecessary losses to the company.
- Move to and from each job quickly to maximize your time during the day and ensure that as many customers as possible are helped.
- Responding to residents’ requests for maintenance and repair, ensuring requests are fulfilled promptly and competently
- Performing daily inspections of the property as well as handyman related duties including maintenance, repair, and upkeep to apartment homes.
- Making vacant units ready for new residents, maintaining appropriate checklists and assuring units are ready on time
- Ordering parts and supplies as necessary
- Being available for periodic 24-hour on-call rotations to provide service in case of emergencies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
