This position will provide support to the Compensation department.

- Partners with the Director of Compensation and Compensation Analyst to locate employee information in employee electronic and physical files
- Accurately calculate employees’ previous employment experience related to currently held positions
- Records related experience from employee records for analysis and entering in Excel
Provides support to collect and analyze information abstracted from employee records
Ensures that employee files are maintained
Calculates appropriate salaries based on years of experience as needed
Provides support in reporting and conducting analysis for college-wide compensation project
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times
Ability to accurately calculate information
Proficient skills in MS Office products
Ability to quickly and efficiently learn new software, systems, and processes
Ability to use automated and manual systems to establish, retrieve, verify, research, and/or update information
Ability to operate general office equipment such as computers, printers, fax machine, etc.
Ability to make decisions based on research
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced office environment
Ability to take direction from multiple HR team members and prioritize tasks accordingly
Minimum Requirements:
Associate's degree
Three years of increasing responsible office administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferences:
Associate's degree in Business Administration, Office Systems Technology, or related field
Experience working in Human Resources
