Basic Function:
The Human Resources Security Analyst plays a critical role in our ability to achieve our goals by creating and maintaining strong relationships with VTS Employees and our Government Customers. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of personnel administration. We count on our Human Resources Security Analyst to work with our Executive Director of Administration to resolve any employee-related issues. Our company is growing rapidly, and this role is critical to our success. This position requires direct interface with VTS technical staff and management.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring the company is compliant with all federal, state and local human resources laws.
2. Oversee the employee benefits programs including medical, dental, life, disability insurance, HSA, FSA, and 401k.
3. Assist our HR Generalist with recruiting new employees, posting requisitions, interviewing prospective employees and negotiating with recruiting agencies.
4. Assist new employees with the completion of payroll, benefits and other related forms.
5. Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes through employee recordkeeping of new hires, performance appraisals, employee transfers, separations and exit interviews.
6. Complete new hire orientation
7. Employee Handbook updates and distribution of changes to VTS employees.
8. Maintains sound employee relations through consistent personal contact.
9. Maintains bulletin boards of required employee postings and general information.
10. Maintains general safety program to include conducting periodic inspections and safety programs on a yearly basis.
11. Develop, and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
12. Maintain DISS for all VTS employee’s clearance submittals and visit requests working directly with customers as required.
13. Performs other related job duties, as assigned.
Experience:
Required: 10+ years of experience in people management or related field.
Education:
Required: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline from an accredited college/university. May consider equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
Preferred: SHRM Certification
Skills:
· Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects in various stages of completion.
· Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written communication.
· Demonstrated knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
· Solid knowledge, experience, and demonstrated ability to successfully enable NISPOM to support site visits and assessments.
Other:
· Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
· Experience with ADP, preferred
· Working knowledge of Unanet and Costpoint, preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
