Regional Human Resources Manager (Remote)
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources for Curtiss-Wright Surface Technologies, a division of Curtiss-Wright Corporation, the Regional Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing a full range of human resources management and generalist support to multiple small to mid-size manufacturing sites located on the west and mid-west regions. This position will reside in the Phoenix, AZ site location with the ability to work fully remote - visiting sites on an as needed basis only.
The primary responsibilities are to provide HR counsel in the areas of employee relations, recruiting, staffing, training, compensation, policy administration, performance management, legal and EEO compliance, and HR records and retention and handling all HR related communications, special project initiatives and other reporting requirements as assigned. To be successful, must demonstrate a true ability to work independently to move tasks forward and drive HR related services, project and special initiatives. Must be goal oriented with meeting or exceeding set deadlines and ability to ensure reporting region is in full adherence to company policies and procedures, Federal, State and local laws at all times.
Location: Remote (must be able to travel 25% and as required by the sites)

Your Challenge:
- Provides HR generalist support in the areas of staffing, compensation, policy implementation, talent management, performance management, training, and development, and change management.
- Interprets and implements Corporate and site-wide HR policies and practices for managers, supervisors and employees and ensures company is acting in full compliance with all company policies and procedures and Federal and State related employment laws.
- Works closely with local management to ensure all business and HR related goals and objectives are met.
- Oversees locations performance management processes with regards to merit, reviews, talent and career development and process implementation and adherence to mandated process guidelines.
- Provides counsel and direction with employee relations to resolve conflicts and employee related issues/concerns and corrective action measures.
- Handles all hiring and selection activities, promotions, and transfers to meet staffing needs in accordance with company policies and EEO/AAP compliance / guidelines.
- Coordinates and communicates all HR related activities.
- Prepares and delivers various routine and customized reports and presentations.
- Works closely with management to create and foster a positive, high performance, work environment.
Your Expertise:
- Minimum 8+ years Human resources or a related discipline; bachelor's degree in related field of business and/or HR required; master's preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of directly related HR experience in a strong Generalist capacity in a fast-paced manufacturing or related industry.
- Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and make decisions in a fair, consistent impartial and unbiased manner.
- Works well independently and as a member of a cohesive team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills able to build and maintain positive working relationships.
- Good knowledgeable in Federal and State laws as they relates to HR/employment activities - AAP/staffing/ termination actions, benefits administration, and various job related leave, ADAAA, FMLA and military, disability leaves.
- Experience supporting multi-sites including California.
- Ability to travel, 25% or as required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Bi-lingual (English, Spanish) is preferred
- Workday (Human Capital Management System) knowledge another definite plus.
