Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Salary range: 65-75 K
Exempt
Reports To: HRD
Summary: This position is part of the Human Resources team. It will support legally compliant HR policies, procedures, and best practices, and providing assistance to the HR Director and Leadership to implement HR programs and staffing plans.
Responsibilities:
1. Respond to employee concerns and suggestions.
2. Support professional and medical recruitment.
3. Oversight of onboarding and offboarding process in conjunction with HR Director.
4. Researching compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits.
5. Organize and assist with HR programs and policies.
6. Lead and create policy manual updates in conjunction with HR Director.
7. Assist with performance improvement plans. Provide coaching as needed.
8. Oversight of staff gatherings and events.
9. Attending all appropriate meetings while representing the HR department.
10. Develop and maintain internal culture/morale improvement strategies.
11. Oversight and upgrade of the HRIS system.
12. Organizes and administers benefits, including open enrollment.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1. This position is required in person.
2. Knowledge of human resources.
3. Knowledge of clinic's strategic business objectives and employee performance objectives.
4. Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve objectives.
5. Skill in identifying, analyzing and resolving staff concerns.
6. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small groups to employees, patients and the public.
7. Ability to competently use Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc
8. Development and review of HR metrics.
9. HR Project Management.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a direct Human Resources position.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher, PHR or SHRM-CP a plus.
Mental and Physical Requirements: Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with an office position that involves standing, sitting, reaching, manual dexterity to operate office machines, stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, and mobility to complete errands or deliveries. May work at computer monitors for prolonged periods with danger of eye strain and muscle pain.
Other Requirements: Commuting to other locations within a 75-mile radius may be required.
Conditions: The position requires the ability to work under pressure and with a diverse population, including staff, physicians, clients, patients, applicants, insurance companies, and other members of the public on a regular basis. Due to the nature of the business, the position may come across communicable diseases and other conditions common in a clinical environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
