Carson Power is a fast-paced, innovative, growing, energy-transition development platform that develops solar and storage power plants across the country looking to hire a Human Resources Coordinator.

The Human Resources Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Human Resources and be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks including talent acquisition, onboarding, offboarding, and general HR Coordinator duties.

This candidate will be resourceful, creative, innovative with a positive problem-solving mindset and a “can-do” attitude that has exceptional communication skills and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the recruitment process including posting positions via ATS, responding to applications and resumes, checking references, and processing new hire paperwork.
  • Schedule interviews.
  • Edit and review job descriptions to ensure they are updated.
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
  • Keep track of new hire IT needs.
  • Maintain and update bulletin boards with HR-required postings.
  • Process payroll with ADP TotalSource.
  • Assist with special projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to multi-task, think on your feet, and prioritize in a demanding office environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills are required.
  • Previous light recruitment experience and not just HR assistants or pre-boarding coordinator experience are a HUGE PLUS.

Education

  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree.
