Human Resources Coordinator Job at Birchwood Inn Partners, LLLP
The Birchwood and Teak Properties are looking for an HR coordinator to oversee a variety of HR and administrative duties. As an HR coordinator, your primary function will be to manage the whole recruitment lifecycle, from candidate sourcing to onboarding new hires and maintaining our employee database. An important part of your role will be to act as the liaison between the HR Department and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. An ideal candidate would possess excellent organization skills, the ability to work autonomously, familiarity with HR software, and strong communication skills. An HR-related degree and industry experience are also ideal.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day to day operations of HR functions
- Provide clerical and administrative support to Director of Operations
- Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
- Onboard all new employees in a timely manner
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
- Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc)
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
- Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
- Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
Skills
- Proven experience as an HR assistant/staff assistant
- Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular)
- Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS
- Basic knowledge of labor laws
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communications skills
