We are in search of a HR Business Partner for Kokosing Construction Company.
- This role is responsible to provide exceptional service through operational and strategic partnerships with managers and senior leaders on business decisions related the company's talent management strategy.
- The HR Business Partner will report to the Sr. Vice President of Human Resource and partner to support key HR initiatives with designated business units.
- This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas providing support in performance management, salary planning, annual talent review process, team member development, team member relations, planning and execution of training, onboarding, policy implementation and employment law compliance.
- Provide operational and consulting support of all issues related to, employment, compensation, team member relations, succession planning and development.
- Develop relationships with Business Unit Leaders, Operations Managers and Department Heads to be a credible and valued business partner to achieve the business and achieve the talent management strategy.
- Provide coaching on applicable employment laws and human resource practices including compliance, compensation, performance management, recruiting & selection, and employee relations.
- Provides direction on and is responsible for execution of local implementation of organization-wide HR policies and programs.
- Coach people managers to handle complex employee matters, facilitate difficult and challenging conversations to achieve conflict resolution and make recommendation for closure
- Partners with management in forecasting staffing needs, managing turnover, and planning for growth or attrition
- Promote and advocate company-wide initiatives that support employee growth, performance, engagement, and development.
- Work closely with HR team ensure that HR processes, actions and programs for the organization and BU are in alignment and executed.
- Participate in the local talent review and succession planning process and ensure development plans are in place for emerging leaders.
- Oversee and facilitate College Hire and internship programs.
- Liaise with the Talent Acquisition team regarding new openings to ensure TA team has current understanding of all hiring needs and participate in interviewing and selection of key hires.

- Strong record of HR management experience.
- Experience of driving change in an organization.
- The ability to influence at all levels within an organization.
- Strong strategic skills to enable the development of people strategies within the business.
- The ability to lead and coach at executive level and beyond.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability in stakeholder management
- Highly developed leadership skills
- Strong analytical and interpretation skills involving complex data, as well as presenting findings at executive level
