Santa Cruz Biotechnology, Inc. (SCBT) is a world leader in the development of products for the biomedical research market. For the past thirty years, SCBT has specialized in the development of research antibodies, biochemicals, labware and it has more recently expanded into animal health care products.
SCBT seeks a full time Human Resources Assistant. This position provides human resources support to domestic and international corporate facilities. This is a part time, entry level position, located in Dallas, TX.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to prepare new hire packages, review hiring documents with new employees, maintain personnel files, maintain computer database records, and assist with company events.
- Ability to respond to requests for information, provide HR documents and records, communicate company policies, and maintain a positive and effective relationship with employees.
- Ability to assist in supporting company HR functions, including but not limited to: preparing hiring documents; maintain personnel files, and maintaining computer database records.
- Ability to recruit new workforce talent by creating job ads, job flyers, and using social media sources such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.
- Strong business communication and computer skills
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a collaborative setting, but also work independently on a wide variety of projects
- Familiar using Mac computers
- Experience in database programs and Microsoft Office
Education and Experience: Bachelor Degree in related field
