Come join us as a Human Resources Assistant where, under the direction of the Assistant Treasurer-Human Resources, you will support human resources practices and objectives that provide an engaged, employee-oriented culture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides day-to-day administrative support to HR team members; duties include but are not limited to filing, photocopying, document preparation, and audit support.
- Serves as a part-time receptionist at our corporate headquarters; greets and directs visitors in a prompt and courteous manner; maintains visitor log.
- Supports all aspects of recruitment; schedules interviews, coordinates new employee orientation, prepares offer letters, coordinates pre-employment screenings, and completes reference checks. Provides a positive candidate experience for both internal and external applicants.
- Establishes and maintains employee personnel files; performs weekly filing and regular quality control audits within HR.
- Communicates personnel activity to appropriate personnel.
- Manages record retention; is responsible for timely and accurate archiving of human resource records.
- Supports a collaborative environment by responding to, or acknowledging, employee requests and/or concerns in a timely manner through various channels including but not limited to HR email and helpdesk.
- Responsible for weekly supply ordering.
- Prepares and distributes monthly reports including but not limited to employee headcount, roster requests, officer listing. Member Perks, and retail teller management report.
- Partners with the AT – Executive Assistant to support Connections activities including project updates and announcements.
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements affecting human resource functions and assists the team with compliance efforts.
Associate’s degree plus 1 year of administrative experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. HR experience and/or experience with Paycom a plus.
