About the Role
The Coesia North America HR Director is responsible for guaranteeing the due deployment of HR processes in all USA organizations, being a liaison between Coesia HR Centres of Expertise and the HR Business Partners in the geography, while acting as a partner to the regional business leaders.
He/She will be a key player in fostering Coesia culture and leadership model, promoting Talent Management in the Region in alignment with business needs and people development and engagement.
He/She will provide methodological and know-how support and coaching to the local HR Business Partners for the proper implementation of Coesia HR processes in the area, reviewing and analyzing processes in order to recommend improvements and share best practices.
He/She will lead multiple initiatives such as strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition and succession planning, leveraging synergies and avoiding duplication of efforts.
Moreover, he/she will ensure the correct management of all the compliance and payroll activities in the region, directly managing the HR Service hub for all the entities in North America.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the direct governance of Compliance and Payroll activities for all the legal entities in North America, directly managing the payroll service, health plan and pension plan for all the collaborators in the area;
- Guarantee coherence and internal equity across all the area for compensation, benefits and HR policies (e.g. travel, car…);
- Promote talent management and internal job rotations across all the businesses in the area, to promote cross-fertilization and One-Coesia;
- Ensure the timely and efficient fulfillment of Coesia HR processes in the area.
Main processes to be managed:
- HR Budget: coordinate the HR Business Partners in order to guarantee HC and Labor Cost budget; review of Budget proposals before submission to guarantee quality and identify issues;
- Performance management: monitor the completion status in the different organizations and support business leaders in the geography throughout all the phases of the process;
- Salary Review: coordinate with HR Business Partners in order to guarantee the process completion according to guidelines and calendar; provide training and support HR Business Partners when needed; overview of salary review proposals before approval to identify potential issues;
- Bonus pay-out: coordinate with all HR Business Partners on bonus pay-out payment and support the lump sum process of exceptions for key performers to retain;
- Organizational redesign: manage organizational redesign projects in alignment with the local business leaders and the relevant HRBP, while liaising with the Coesia corporate team in case of strategic initiatives;
- Talent Acquisition: management performance of the Talent Acquisition team, including monitoring and adjusting it to business needs and workforce planning.
- Learning and Development: implement Training strategy in the Region in alignment with HR Business Partners and L&D budgets identifying common needs and cross-business delivery opportunities;
- Ensure project management for specific assigned initiatives, guaranteeing that projects goals are met in terms of requirements, satisfaction, timing, budget, and quality;
- Provide methodological support and coaching to local HR Business Partners in HR corporate processes as required, understanding the business needs and priorities; functionally coordinate the HR Business Partners in the area;
- Define, consolidate and review monthly performance metrics or KPIs with site HRBPs such as headcount, recruitment, turnover, talent management, succession planning, performance management, compliance, etc. to provide relevant information to support decisional process.
Basic Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in HR management within complex matrix organizations; experience within international contexts would be a plus;
- Influencing skills and ability to manage stakeholders at all levels in the organization, including top management;
- Customer-centricity and results orientation;
- Required Experience in: Talent Attraction & Talent Development, Strategic workforce planning, Culture & Engagement within a complex organizational set up. Knowledge of compliance topics with a specific focus on the North American region;
- Experience with payroll services management;
- Strong project management skills;
- Continuous improvement attitude;
- Excellent proficiency of English language;
- Availability to travel upon request.
