Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE: APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, has an immediate opportunity for an HR Associate - MyHR. This role will be based at our global headquarters in Allentown, PA.

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. currently has an opening for the position of HR Associate within the MyHR team. MyHR is the face of HR to employees and managers providing employee support, HR subject matter expertise and execution of HR Operations while delivering an exceptional employee experience.

This HR Associate role will act as a systems power user that is responsible for data entry and processing of HR master data in the HRIS system. The Power User will provide guidance to employees and managers related to HR processes, procedures and problem solving within the HRIS system and health and welfare plans. The position will also work with vendors resolving questions and concerns.

This position is ideal for the candidate who enjoys a wide variety of responsibilities, is process focused and detail oriented. Qualifications include:

• 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources; particularly HRIS processes.
• Experience with employee health and welfare programs and a basic knowledge of payroll
• A strong focus on customer care and focus in a Human Resources setting
• Superior organization skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask, problem solve
• Understanding of HR policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)
• Positive "can do" attitude; Adaptable to change, Process focused
• Ability to work independently (a self-starter) in a fast-paced team environment across a variety of departments.
• The ability to work well within a team and employees at all levels of the organization
• Confidentiality and integrity are a must
• Skills in the Microsoft software suite (Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint)
• Workday or SAP experience is required
