Circle of Life Home Care is growing and we're looking for an HR Specialist to join our Corporate Support Team. Circle of Life is a leading home care agency operating in 7 states, with headquarters in Minneapolis, MN. We provide services for children, seniors, and people with disabilities, and our mission is to “honor those we serve”. We take pride in the responsibility we have caring for our clients so that they can stay independent in their homes and communities. We employ nearly 1,300 personal care assistants and have an office staff of more than 65. This role will be vital in facilitating the HR responsibilities across this diverse and geographically dispersed workforce.

Pay: $40,000 - $45,000 dependent on experience, with potential for annual bonus dependent on performance. Benefits include PTO & paid holidays, full health, dental & vision, 401K

About the job:

• Provide support to Corporate and Regional offices in areas of recruitment, updating job descriptions, background checks, onboarding
• Support Human Resources with maintaining personnel files, employee life cycle (hire to retire), benefits administration, 401K, unemployment
• Assists with new hire onboarding documents, ensuring new-hires have completed all forms before start date (background checks, I9’s, data entry billing and payroll solutions)
• Assists with managing employee relations, answering questions and ensuring a positive company culture

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in office support, HR or Staffing
• Associate Degree (Preferred) in human resources management, business administration or related field; or work experience or knowledge
• Experience in extending offers and onboarding new hires
• Strong data entry skills
• Excellent written skills
• Strong communications skills
• Acute attention to detail
• Must qualify for employment, after criminal background check, per guidelines of the Minnesota
