We are looking for a thorough housekeeper with excellent cleanliness standards to attend all areas of our facilities. The goal is to enhance customer experience by keeping our facilities in clean and orderly condition. Coldwater Gardens is looking for one part-time Hotel Housekeeper. The position may become full-time in the future. If you have a knack for impeccable cleanliness, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all areas to the standard cleanliness within time limits
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Create daily job lists and record all serviced rooms
• Maintain equipment in good condition
• Report on any shortages, damages or security issues
• Perform cleaning duties in all guest areas and accommodations often within time constraints
• This work is sometimes performed in non-air conditioned units, so you must be able to work in all kinds of weather
• Laundry is often heavy. You must be able to lift and move with ease
• We use high quality cleaning products and sometimes bleach for deeper cleaning. You must be comfortable and know how to use these products in a safe and effective manner
• Offer professional, friendly and engaging customer/coworker service
• Ensure ALL housekeeping standards are followed
• Respond timely to guests' special requests
• Keep track of inventory for necessary supplies
• Report necessary maintenance items
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies
• Assist coworkers when needed to ensure optimum service to guests
• Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws

Skills

• Service/hotel industry experience is preferred
• Customer service experience required
• The position requires both physical and mental aptitude
• Detail oriented, with the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
• Able to utilize daily/weekly task lists and prioritize tasks with ease
• Ability to work independently and remain motivated
• Prioritization and time management skills
• Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail
• Knowledge of English language
• High school degree
• Physical requirements:
• Standing, bending, stooping repeatedly, and lifting up to 40 lb often
• Hours and schedule will vary based on need. Weekends, holidays, spring/summer/fall breaks are our busiest times. You must be flexible and able to work when most people are vacationing
• Duties will most often be performed between 9am-5pm. Some days are longer, some are shorter
• For workers seeking to maximize their earnings, there is often the option of working 5 days per week
• Year round work will be available depending on review and evaluation of your performance, at the discretion of the management team
• Punctuality and reliable transportation are REQUIRED
