Job Summary and Qualifications

• You will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the delivery of patient care in the absence of the department director, manager or assistant department manager
• You will serve as nursing clinical resource person and intervene in difficult situations or medical crises
• You will oversee and coordinate the final staffing of the off shifts
• You will act as administrative representative, interpreting and enforcing established policies and procedures for all hospital departments

What qualifications you will need:

• B.A. / B.S. / MSN from an accredited School of Nursing preferred
• CA RN License
• BLS Certification, ACLS Certification
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification
• 5-7 Years progressively more responsible related work experience necessary in order to gain comprehensive and current knowledge of organization and operation of hospital nursing department, and be able to resolve staffing and complex patient care issues under minimal direction
• In-depth knowledge of Department care principles, procedures and techniques, as well as technical skills in equipment operation and maintenance
