Hotel General Manager Job at Comfort Suites
Our hotel is looking for a highly qualified professional to manage and grow our business within the greater Austin community. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of managerial experience and a degree in hospitality or related field. We are looking for an individual who can effectively hire and train new staff, complete administrative work, take reservations and handle customer issues.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of an upscale hotel.
- Oversee the budgeting process.
- Hire, train, and supervise staff members.
- Prepare budgets for the hotel based on projected revenue and expenses.
- Review and revise budgets when necessary.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors.
- Keep current with market trends, consumer research, and competitor information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
