Host/Hostess Job at Breaux Bridge
Breaux Bridge :
We are looking for a Host/Hostess to join our team and be the first point of contact for our guests.
*MUST BE 18+*
We are committed to giving our guests an excellent, delicious, and consistent experience. We need staff that can serve as the face of the establishment and give our guests the experience they deserve while following all company policies and rules. We like our guests to feel at home, with that, it is crucial to greet ALL guests with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. Ultimately, you'll ensure we provide excellent customer service and a pleasant dining experience to our guests from entry to exit.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Welcome guests to the venue
- Greet guests upon their departure
- Learn and maintain up to date menu knowledge, specials, and company policies
- Accurately take food and beverage orders
- Manage reservations
- Handle cash with accuracy
- Perform opening side work, duration side work, and closing side work
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and mananagement
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times
- Pass food and drinks to customers in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area
- Cater to guests who may require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly, etc.)
- Answer incoming calls to place orders and to adress any guest questions or concerns
Preferred Experience In:
- Hosting
- Money Handling
- Operating POS systems
- Operating a cash register
- High levels of customer service
- Understanding of resturant etiquette
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $7.25 - $9.00 per hour
