Responsibilities
Supervisory support of Field Clinical Educators (FCEs).
Identifies area of need for FCE deployment related to staffing model.
Responsible for established KPIs.
Cultivates the growth and development of FCEs.
Models regulatory compliance and standards.
Provides oversight and education to ensure effective collaboration with healthcare providers in accordance with physician’s orders and plan of care.
Acts as a liaison and maintains communication with FCEs, leadership, and the Home Health Learning & Professional Development team.
Ensures execution of orientation experience via: Orientation resources, Competency assessments, and State specific requirements as needed.
Continually works to create a culture of learning and support for FCEs and clinicians.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrates strong leadership skills and the ability to function with minimal supervision.
Displays effective communication, interpersonal skills, and sound decision-making skills.
Possesses effective teaching skills and desire to mentor and develop FCEs.
Ability to assess the learning needs and skills of the new FCEs and provide immediate and ongoing feedback.
Ability to create a nurturing and supportive environment conducive to learning using adult learning principles in the classroom and/or the field.
Ability to validate the performance of a new FCE and to provide effective feedback to FCEs and leaders in the branch location.
Working knowledge of Home Health laws and regulations including state/local specific.
Competent in the delivery of patient care consistent with evidenced based practice and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrates proficiency in OASIS accuracy.
Qualifications:
RN license, BSN preferred.
Minimum of five years of healthcare experience including two years patient-facing Home Health clinical experience.
Two or more years of healthcare leadership experience.
Homecare Homebase (HCHB) expertise is required.
OASIS certification is a plus.
Previous training or learning & development experience with an understanding of curriculum design and adult learning principles is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel & Teams.
Position requires up to 50% regional travel.
