General Description:

Business Center Agent:

1) Duties include assisting customers with all business center services: photocopying, printing, computer workstation / internet access, fax services, FedEx and UPS shipping. May include executing rental orders.

2) Responsible for cash handling, to include credit card and room charge account transactions. End of day cash reconciliation and reporting.

3) First point of contact for all Convention and Event rental order service calls. May provide some service and technical support.

4) Must be able to resolve issues on-hand and provide creative solutions to customer problems.

5) Must be able to multi-task, may assist more than one customer at a time.

Mail Room and On-Site Coordinator (Back up role):

6) Maintain copier cleanliness, functionality of the copier, and adequate supplies.

7) Provide end user copier knowledge and training when necessary, to include E-Info online account user log in and training on placing service calls.

8) You are the first point of contact for any escalation copier matters. You will receive e-mail alerts if the machine has been waiting in excess of four hours for a service call response by the assigned technician. You would call the technician to get an ETA and then contact the end user by phone or person to let them know of the service call status.

9) Obtain current copier meter readings for billing purposes as requested by contract manager.

10) Places follow up calls to customer to close service work order, if necessary.

11) Provide administrative support and / or work shirt coverage for the Business Center and Mail Room operations when called upon, or when necessary.

Operational Function:

  • Maintains safe, clean, and organized working environment.
  • Performs all computer functions necessary to maintain, process, and manage guest service and sales receipts.
  • Capable of using a cash register and can handle cash responsibly.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Performance Skills Requirements:

  • Ability to constantly lift 5 pounds and greater.
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to constantly reach outward, handle and finger objects, walk and type using a keyboard.
  • Ability to frequently twist, turn and sit.
  • Ability to occasionally bend, squat, kneel, climb, crawl, reach above shoulder and stand.

Qualifications:

  • At least (1) year of customer service experience is desirable.
  • Dependable and Trainable.
