Helper Job at Houser Fabrication LLC
Houser Fabrication, LLC is seeking an individual to join our team as a helper in our steel fabrication shop. The Helper position will work under the direct supervision of the shop foreman and will coordinate with other field & shop workers. They can expect to work in the field at various locations / job sites and in our shop. The Helper can expect to perform the following functions:
- Completing cut lists
- Grinding
- Painting
- Loading & unloading trucks/trailers
- Driving trucks and trailers
- Working at various heights (on a forklift / scissor lift)
- Cleaning shop & shop maintenance
- Other tasks as needed
The position is for a contract laborer in which you will receive a 1099. Health benefits are available after 90 days of employment. An ideal candidate has experience in a steel fabrication shop. Working days for this position are typically Monday-Friday 6am-3pm. Schedule is subject to change depending on the assigned job and owner’s discretion. The position is located at 205 S. May Street, Madisonville, TX 77864.

- Welding experience
- Experience working in a fabrication shop
