Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Pharmacy Services / Pharmacist Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee all pharmacy services within the organization, including dispensing medications, providing medication therapy management, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. The Head of Pharmacy Services / Pharmacist Advisor will also serve as a clinical advisor to other healthcare professionals, providing guidance on medication-related issues.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all pharmacy services, including dispensing medications and providing medication therapy management
• Ensure HIPAA compliance in all aspects of pharmacy operations
• Serve as a clinical advisor to other healthcare professionals, providing guidance on medication-related issues
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to pharmacy operations
• Provide training and education to pharmacy staff on medication-related issues and HIPAA compliance
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to pharmacy services • Manage and mentor pharmacy staff, ensuring they provide high-quality patient care

Requirements:

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
• Active pharmacy license in good standing
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pharmacy leadership role
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and requirements
• Experience in medication therapy management and providing clinical guidance to healthcare professionals
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
