Senior Community Services HOME Program has a need for a Handyperson to help Seniors in your Community
POSITION: Part Time (typically 15-20 hours weekly) / Make your own schedule / Paid Mileage.
LOCATION: various assigned homes in Minneapolis and suburban Hennepin County
JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide minor home repairs to older adults in Hennepin County. Workers are required to provide their own equipment and transportation. Contact us for a full job description and application
REQUIREMENTS:
- An interest in working with older adults and the mission of helping people remain in their homes and communities
- Diagnose repair needs and discuss options with clients
- Maintenance tasks include, but are not limited to carpentry, masonry, minor plumbing, minor electrical repairs, small painting jobs as needed, landscaping and general labor.
- Physically able to perform work described
- Provide your own tools and transportation
- Must be 18 or older to apply
- Pass a background check
- Able to accurately maintain time records
- Ability to speak and interact with senior clients respectfully
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
