Job: Hadoop Developer
Location: REMOTE
Duration: 6+ Months contract
VISA: GC or Citizen
Hourly Pay rate: $60-65/Hr on C2C
Project Details: This team works on a claims payment system. They support a big data application that is mostly on Hadoop for Payment Integrity and Provider Operations. The project started a year ago and is expected to end in about 2 years. Everything is on prem but they will be migrating to Azure next year.
Must haves:
- At least 5-7 years
- Hadoop
- Spark and Scala
- Hive and Hbase
- Ideally experience with streaming within Kafka
- Someone who is adaptable and ready to accept changes
Nice to haves:
- Databricks
- Healthcare/Healthcare Data
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
