Guest Service Specialist - $18 per hour minimum Job at Woodward Park City
Do you remember the excitement of ski trips? Love winter sports? Join our Guest Service team as a Community Host and assist our guest navigate their Woodward Park City experience.
Our community host work across the facility, indoors and outdoors, assisting guest and members. They help identify and meet the needs of our guest during their experience. This will include providing resort information, personal guidance, encouraging participation, enforcing resort policies, and activation of resort activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work in high volume, fast paced environments, excellent communication skills, a commitment to youth development.
Other duties include but are not limited to generating sales, maintaining an awareness of promotions, assisting membership holders, assist in opening/closing duties and resort readiness, access validation, and greeting/engaging with all guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet arriving guest and assist in the reservation check in process.
- Assist in opening, including activity area set-up, equipment unpacking, food setup and cleaning, and basic grounds.
- Help guest choose activities and encourage them to try new things.
- Assist in teaching or leading resort activities daily, as assigned.
- Enforce and follow all resort rules and policies.
- To maintain good relations with campers' parents and the local community
- Provide product knowledge to members/customers by explaining the type of product or program offered. This includes but not limited to Woodward Park City camps.
- Work with internal and external departments to ensure one seamless guest camp experience.
- Responsible for proper liability release distribution and filing for year-round activities.
- Utilize resort radio communication system to assist guest needs.
- Review and address any guest feedback across multiple channels of communication.
- Set a positive example and be a role model.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and learn new skills as needed.
- Maintain clean and safe working environment.
- Cross training may be necessary to support operations as needed.
