Description:
Tangent Technologies is the leading manufacturer of recycled plastic lumber in the United States and the fastest growing company in the industry. We are seeking highly talented, result driven individuals to join our high caliber dedicated team members in producing quality products for our customers.
Grinder Operators are responsible for operating grinders that process plastic scrap cuts. The equipment must be prepped, continuously fed material, and cleaned in a safe manner.
Hours are 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on a rotating, two-week schedule:
- Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain exceptional attendance
- Follow all safety standards and procedures
- Sort materials by color prior
- Prepare tools, equipment, and materials for assigned jobs as directed
- Feed materials into Grinder
- Log weights of full boxes into production logs
- Perform job site cleanup including collection of all tools, equipment and material
- Perform all other duties in the best interest of the company or as directed by managers or leads
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Authorization to work in the US
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Ability to stand entire shift
- Must be available to work holidays and at least every other weekend
