Job Description: Pure Green Farms is currently seeking a Certified Forklift Operator Team Member who is responsible to perform general labor tasks associated with in growing and selling leafy green lettuce and keeping our plant growing containers and process lines moving quickly and efficiently.

Compensation/Salary:

• $15.00/hour starting wage with $0.50 increase targeted after 3 months based on performance

Requirements:

• Must have manual dexterity and be able to move back and forth from forklift to production line frequently and efficiently throughout the shift
• Self-motivated, open-minded, and positive attitude
• Learning and following all food safety and quality policies and procedures
• Ability to make critical decisions quickly and repeatedly
• Ability to make changes as needed without advance notice

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for keeping soil/growing media area clean, dry, and free of debris.
• Empty used compost hoppers through-out the day.
• Tending pressure washer station, cleaning gutters/growing containers that are exiting the process line.
• Take out, store and organize empty pallets.
• Empty Trash Hoppers
• Maintain general cleanliness of all soil/growing areas and adjacent workspaces
• Assist in first-line trouble shooting of machinery

Working Conditions:

• Position requires sitting, standing, and walking on a regular basis for prolonged periods
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs

Education/Experience:

• Previous warehouse and/or agricultural experience preferred
• Forklift certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.96 - $17.98 per hour
