What will you do as a Graphic Designer?

As a Graphic Designer, you will provide design and production support to the creative department. You are working closely with the Creative Director to fulfill the needs of production and design in both print and web platforms.

This is a growth role with an opportunity to learn more about the industry and design methodologies.

Additional Responsibilities of a Graphic Designer:

•Digital mock-ups

• Organize files and use established naming conventions

• Basic print (prepress) setup for offset lithography

• File setup for internal catalog printing

• File setup for large-format printing

• Web file set up - web banners, eblast graphics, retargeting ads

• Photoshop clipping paths

• Color correct images

• Navigate client asset management platforms

• Catalog layout, logo design, graphic t-shirt design

• Multi-task and prioritize projects

• Take direction from the creative team and have the ability to take the lead

while following brand standards in client style guides

What will you need to be a successful Graphic Designer at Norscot:

• 1-3 years’ experience

• An online portfolio that demonstrates originality and technique

• Skills in graphic design, typography, and illustration

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite on Mac OS, mainly Adobe

Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator

• Background in web, print, and large-format signage production

• Studio photography experience a plus

• Attention to detail, including technical prepress/digital production

know-how

• Strong communication skills

• The ability to manage multiple projects and work efficiently under

pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
