This is a Fully Remote Position in New York City
Terrific Grants Director/Manager position with a charitable foundation supporting women's leadership and empowerment initiatives. This is a new position that will be integrally involved in the design and implementation of the foundation's grant-making infrastructure, processes, and procedures. This will include identifying potential grantees, managing the proposal process, and post-award data collection and reporting. Qualified candidates will have an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for women's issues. Candidates should have approximately 5+ years of experience in grants management, the grant-making process, and familiarity with the New York City foundation landscape. Bachelor's degree is required. The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This is a fully remote position based in NYC. There is access to an office if a candidate prefers to be in-person.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage the organization's grant-making process
- Collaborate with stakeholders to plan a timeline for the 2023 grant cycle
- Research, identify, and build relationships with potential grantees
- Oversee the grant-making process from application through post-award
- Collaborate with leadership team to understand grant-making goals
- Maintain reporting systems to ensure grantee compliance
- Prepare annual reports for the Foundation
- Recruit, train, and manage team members as the organization grows
Qualifications:
- Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in New York City
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience overseeing the grant-making process
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Passion for and connection to women's empowerment
