Position

We are looking for a self-motivated Golf Instructor with a passion for teaching golf. This is not a typical golf facility but will operate more like a gym allowing members to learn and practice golf on state-of-the-art golf simulators with oversight from a team of instructors. We are looking for a team member to deliver lessons to golfers of all levels in both private and group setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Deliver golf instruction to golfers of all levels

· Deliver swing analysis using advanced technology including launch monitor, 3D analysis, ground force analysis

· Develop personal coaching plans for members and take responsibility for their progress

· Deliver private and group lessons using Golfzon simulator technology

· Deliver club check and club fitting to members

· Create social media content to promote the facility and lesson offerings

· Proactively offer lessons to members through providing tips and guidance to golfers practicing

· Support member acquisition

· Deliver new member orientation and provide training on how to use simulator

· Support facility operations as member of team

Experience

· Professional golf instruction qualification - will be required to be Leadbetter certified (training and certification provided as required)

· Club fitting certification (training and certification provided as required)

· Comfortable using technology for lessons

· Launch monitor certification

· Min 3 years coaching experience

· Ability to demonstrate playing ability at an elite level

Commission, required to work weekends

Golfzon Range by Leadbetter (also known as GDR Academy in Asian markets) was started in 2017 and there are now over 90 stores across Korea. This will be the first facility opened in the US with the aim of making it faster for golfers to learn and improve their golf game using the latest technology blended with clear and simple instruction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
