Golf Course and Grounds Keeper Maintenance Technician – Juniper Ridge (Show Low, AZ)
HOAMCO is seeking a Grounds Keeper Maintenance Technician for our Juniper Ridge Resort, Show Low, AZ community. This employee will work closely with our Operation Manager to ensure the smooth, daily operations of all aspects of our community. Juniper Ridge Resort is the home to an 18 Hole Executive Golf Course using a Cayman (limited flight) golf ball situated in a beautiful park resort setting. Rate of Pay: $18.00 Hourly. Hours: Full Time, Monday thru Friday

Qualifications:
- Driver’s License (with clean driving record) and you have/own a vehicle to drive to work
- Own a cell phone, able to call/text and demonstrate good communication skills
- General understanding of computers and email communication
- Knowledge of groundskeeping, irrigation, facilities maintenance and repair processes
- Skilled in the upkeep and repair of buildings, grounds, structures and equipment
- Ability to read and write. Demonstrate teamwork, good work ethics and integrity
- Proficient in the operation of power tools, hand tools and groundskeeping equipment
Job Duties:
- Mowing, edging, raking, maintaining and caretaking of golf course, parks and greenbelts
- Maintenance and repair of irrigation and drainage systems, walkways and structures
- Complete service requests as assigned and update daily logs as required
- Perform routine maintenance and repair functions of general facilities as assigned to include, snow removal, painting, trash removal, irrigation installation, aerating
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Tree and shrub trimming, planting, fertilizing, weeding, pruning, sweeping, blowing
- Other duties may be assigned as required
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time, use hands to handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Balance, stoop, kneel and crouch
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Work in winter, summer and seasonal outdoor inclement weather environments
- Regular use of various utility vehicles, hand tools, power tools and equipment
