GIS Analyst - Remote Job at ICF

**This is a Remote opportunity. Some travel may be required.
What you’ll be doing:
-
Perform complex GIS analysis to develop client focused outputs, maps, and dashboards that integrate data relevant to client mission areas.

Design, build, deploy, and maintain web-based geospatial applications using custom and off-the-shelf mapping, field data collection and BI tools.
-
Evaluate and integrate spatial data from various platforms and data types (geodatabases, web services, raster, and image files) using extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes.

Apply understanding of GIS, remote sensing and UAV Image acquisition/processing to support clients in disaster recovery.

Work directly with clients and ICF subject matter experts to translate business needs into data analysis requirements.
What you must have:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Environmental Science, Computer or Data Science, or related discipline.

5+ years of experience managing and implementing GIS and spatial data solutions using a wide range of front- and back-end tools, including ArcPro and ArcGIS Online.

5+ years of experience performing complex GIS analysis involving multi-hazard datasets (floodplain mapping) and LiDAR
-
Must have valid driver's license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check at hire and periodically during employment.
What we’d like you to have:
-
Experience with Mobil field data collection (Survey 123) and ArcGIS Enterprise
-
Experience applying principles of UAV and Terrestrial data collection/capture using a variety of sensors (RGB, MultiSpectral, IR, LiDAR)
-
Experience working with Business Intelligence (Power BI & Tableau) and BIM (AutoCAD, Revit, Autodesk) applications
-
FAA Part 107 License for Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) or willingness to obtain.
-
Experience automating GIS workflows using languages such as Python and R or proprietary tools. Understand concepts and applicable software tools and analytical methodologies for visualizing different types of spatial data.

Experience with COTS mapping and BIM tools such as Autodesk BIM 360, Revit, etc.
