JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Maintenance – Full-time
Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy (NDPMA)is a private, Catholic, independent, coeducational day school located in Oakland County.
We have an immediate opening for a full-time maintenance employee. The hours for the position are 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday – Friday. There may be occasional overtime and/or weekend hours required.
Benefits include: health, vision, dental, life/AD&D, disability, flex savings account, 403b and a fully funded lay employees' retirement plan. Dental, Life/AD&D, and Disability are all employer funded. Single allowance healthcare plans are available free for employee.
NDPMA provides a generous paid time off plan including personal, vacation and sick time. Designated holidays are paid. Full-time employees are eligible to receive tuition-assistance for continuing education classes up to $2,000 per year.
Responsibilities
In general, maintenance employees are responsible for ensuring that the school facilities remain clean and in safe working order.
Specific tasks include:
- A wide variety of general and semi-skilled maintenance activities
- Set-up and take-down of tables, chairs and other furnishings or equipment for special events
- Installation, maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities
- Cleaning and organization of various maintenance and storage areas across campus
