Medical City Denton is a full-service, 208 bed, high quality, acute care hospital. With 850 employees and 300 physicians, Medical City Denton provides a range of healthcare services to patients in the growing populations of Denton, Wise, Cook and Montague Counties since 1974. The Maintenance Tech performs a variety of duties in and around the buildings of the hospital complex. Duties include repair and installation of plumbing fixtures, cleaning of drain lines, repairs and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment. The General Maintenance Technician would also perform minor electrical repairs and completes documentation as required.

- Current Texas Driver's License and a clear driving record.
- Prefer a thorough knowledge of and five years general maintenance experience and/or three years in a particular trade, i.e. electrical, plumbing, painting, HVAC, refrigeration plant/boiler operation.
- Possess a knowledge of troubleshooting and repair of non-patient connected hospital equipment repairs, general knowledge of grounds care and maintenance.
- Verbal and written command of the English language.
- Ability to read and write clear, concise and complete reports.
- Professional demeanor and approach to duties.
- Must be available to take call and respond to emergencies.
