Job description
This position requires no wood veneer experience, training will be provided.
1st Shift Position: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday thru Friday, with a strong possibility of overtime.
- Able to lift 20 – 30lbs.
- Able stand for the entire 8-hour shift.
- Willingness to learn to operate wood working equipment (cutting machines and splicers).
- Have basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to read and comprehend paperwork.
- Ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize daily workload.
- Strong attention to detail, a keen eye for defects/imperfections.
- Need to be self-motivated, have the willingness to ask questions, and work as a team player.
- Knowledge of the wood industry is a plus.
We are a drug-free workplace. Initial drug testing is performed directly before hire and employees are subject to random testing.
